Decanted and consumed over eight hours. Dark, inky purple in color. Spicy, high alcohol nose. Dark fruit, oak and some vanilla. Big, bold, full bodied wine. Tastes like the nose. Simplistic and linear, but a crowd pleaser. Was great wit rib eye steaks, and baked potato tonight. A little overpriced. for what one gets.

After having a chance to lay our multiple purchases of this wine down in our cellar, we may have underestimated this wine, and I don't say that lightly. Letting it breathe all afternoon, paired with a grilled ribeye and Colorado Olathe sweet corn, this wine blew us away. Had some Tempranillo-like musty notes and while it was hard to say any of the 3 varietals (Cab, Merlot, Cab Franc) stood out, the blend was marvelous and perhaps better than any of the varietals standing alone. This is a tremendous wine, very ready to drink now. We cleared our local store out of the remaining four for $32 each and have to say this could stand up to any left bank (Cab dominant) wine at twice the price. Highly recommend, but drink, don't cellar.

Deep Bing Cherry, dark fruit, leather, smoky. Garnet in color. Taught tannins. Heavy cranberry finish. Big punch.

Extremely smooth and drinkable. Sweet, festive. Not dry at all. Get more than 1 bottle!
