Unscrewed the cap about 90 minutes before drinking. Wife and I both got a nose and palate full of eucalyptus/menthol which is unusual for a pinot from Willamette. As we drank, it evolved into more traditional red fruit...cherry more in my mind and warm woodsy spice. Went very well with a red sauce but drank fine on it's own as we finished the bottle post dinner.
