  • Opened this at home to welcome my FYP mate and her husband. We ordered dinner from New Ubin Seafood: ribeye, fries, fried rice, kailan, cereal prawns, omelette, har cheong chicken and hokkien mee.

Deep purple in colour with a sweet, juicy nose that reminded me of blackcurrants, jelly and jam. Lush, easy to drink and great for parties. Great way to end a dinner, too.

  • Brought this to my sister-in-law's place for Christmas gathering.

Dark purple in colour with notes of sweet blackcurrants on the nose. On the appearance most will assume this to be a still red instead of a sweet wine.

On the palate the wine is medium bodied, with black berries, sweet cassis, and a touch of coffee.

A little heavy bodied as compared to the regular dessert wine, this wine will complement heavier desserts such as fruit tarts and petit four well.
