  In der Nase eine fantastisch strahlende, kühle und zugleich tiefe Frucht, die sich über die Flasche (2 Tage) hinweg zwischen Brombeere, Erdbeere, Kirsche hin- und herbewegt. Dazu gibt’s bereits in der Nase phenolische Frische und etwas Bleistift. Am Gaumen ist’s mir dann noch zuviel Tannin und entweder steht für mich die Säure etwas daneben (im kühleren Trinkbereich) oder es verliert sich dann doch ein wenig (im wärmeren). Wahrscheinlich hab ich den zu jung aufgemacht, allerdings wird er dann wohl diese Frische vermutlich nicht ins Alter retten können. Wär trotzdem spannend den einmal nach 5-7 Jahren zu probieren. Insgesamt durchaus spannend, im Moment zumindest nimmt es mich aber noch nicht voll mit.

  red fruit, slight floral notes, not very herbaceous, light weight in the mouth but with prominent drying tannins, very interesting Canadian wine
