While this wine may be the best Dolchetto I've ever had, I must say, that even a great producer like Aurelio Settimo can't make me change my mind about wines made from this varietal. I just don't understand these super thin, acidic fruit bombs. Besides cheap Beaujolais, some wines from Rhone and zweigelt no other varietal makes me think of green tomato stems like Dolchetto does. I just don't like these flavors at all. Sorry, maybe one day I see the light in these thin uninspiring wines - I really hope so!

Sour Cherry; almond. Slightly sweet but not cray. Would be great with pepperoni pizza. Will only be good for next 3-4 years.
