Not the most layered or sophisticated of wines, however it has good depth, homogeneity and consistency in the mouth, quality wood and some alcohol sweetness (14,5% alcohol).
So this is in the chocolate/coffee/cinnamon corner (sometimes reminding a bit even of Rioja) with a bit of liqueur-feeling, but still rather well balanced.
If one is not afraid of wood, this should be by satisfactory to most people.
Paid 15 EUR for it which is OK.
