  Strawberry and menthol on the nose. On the palate, tart cherry and currant with notes of cranberry and something herbal, with no detectable tannins and strong acidity. Although this is probably slightly past its peak, with the acidity starting to overwhelm the fruit, it's a good match with rich food, and it was an average to good value at about $50.
