  • Beautiful. Still has years to go. Ripe fruit but great acidity to balance.

  • Absolutely in a style I prefer and enjoy. Bright, with such fine balance between acid and fruit. Lovely tension, with length and soil, and red-fruit driven complexity at every turn. A joy to drink. For the modest/fair cost, and quality here, it's highly recommended.

  • I bought this off the list at Brat in London. Though I had been awake for the better part of 24 hours, this snapped me back to reality rather quickly with lovely and fragrant tones of red apples, nougat, toast, biscuits, pears, elderflowers, nectarines, vanilla bean, some creamy notes, and a good dose of strawberries. The Medium bodied feel shows off excellent depth, poise, and balance with silky high acidity that has just the right amount of bite. Simply put, this is utterly lovely. It is elegant the entire way as it just plays beautifully in harmony across the nose and palate.

  • I’m between a 92-93 here. Second time with this champagne in the last year and it has stayed consistently delicious.

Slightly older disgorgement at July 2021. 100% Pinot noir. Extra year of aging and fermentation in used barriques compared to all stainless for the Resonance cuvée.

Almost 6yrs on the lees and it shows with a leesy character alongside rich power (which can be hard to do with zero dosage champagnes, but the vintage and style help). Gold tinged in the glass. Spiced cider, oyster shell aromatically before a honeycrisp red apple, cranberry, red and black berry fruit and a mineral/limestone finish. I’d love to try this disgorgement a few years down the line, as I think it would be doing even better.

    Happy Thanksgiving.

NOSE: medium-pitched apple-pear combo; a touch chalky; Nose is "fine" -- not bad, but nothing remarkable, either.

BODY: light brassy yellow color; active, fairly loose bead, which dissipated quickly.

TASTE: quite dry, but rich --- actually has a buttery edge; broad; not oxidative; palate is impressive! Paired well with sushi.
