Still enjoyable. On the backside of peak but still quite enjoyable. Tabun's present. Tar and tobacco. Not much of a nose left but taste continues nicely.

This was my 3rd bottle of a case I bought in the spring 2015. This bottle was a little more balanced and less acidic as the other 2. The color has a little brownish tone, likely from the 20 years of age. Lovely bottle for $10 that brings back good memories me of 1995. 12.5% alcohol.

My second bottle from a case. This is little better than the first bottle I tried, largely because it has been sitting in my refrigerator prior to drinking. Lovely drinking wine for the age. Not often I get to drink a nice 20 year old bottle of wine.

Definitely a big surprise! As a 20 years old! It is rather young! Very energetic! The nose of smoke, dark fruits, touch of old oak cask! Very exciting palate! Very smooth, mouthful of black fruits! Simple but everything is just right!

I took a chance and bought a case of this at auction and it paid off. Such a treat to get a 20 year old bottle of left bank Bordeaux, a time capsule of sorts. Elegant, vibrant and smooth for the age. It has some life in it, no way to know how much though. Net price was around $10 a bottle, exceptional deal from my standpoint. 12.5% alcohol.
