  Not my usual wine but I did like this. Pleasantly low(er) in alcohol (13.9%) with good balance, simple, plenty of fruit. A great deal at auction price.

  I find this pleasing (likely widely) yet in good balance and with some elegance. There is loads of red and dark fruit and pleasing acidity and tannic grip on the finish. Some subtle leaf/tea on the nose too. Certainly not light, but also a lift to it--in the medium-heavy vs. heavy duty. 89-90, with nudge for QRP.
