  • PnP. Delicate and pretty, but lacks a bit personality and character. Pale yellow. Nose white flowers, salinity, really pretty but doesn’t jump out. Similarly on the mouth. Medium length/complexity/concentration. Honey, subtle lemon. All balanced and nice, but just wanted a bit more. Might be be better with more air/age.

  • Holy shit the nose is mind blowing. One minute deep savory classic puligny, the next shimmering crystalline mineral cut, the next mac and cheese béchamel, the next pop corn from some over the top hipster cruelty free artisanal corn cobs, then smoke and flint, though not reductive like many are relying on to follow the current trend.

Same goes for the palate, changing by the minute along the same lines, texture like a luscious yet weightless silk and satin blanket. Fuck yeah. Just keeps getting better and better with the texture and layers of white flowers and wisps of light yellow fruit framing a paper cut acid.

Never too lemony, never too flinty, certainly never too fat and greasy buttery, always light white flowers and a delicious shining clear edge with the depth and concentration solidifying its greatness.

  • Color: dusty light grain…more green yellow than golden.
    Nose: honey lemon
Taste: rich, soft, full mouth, lemon-lime citrus.
A delicious mouthful, long finish. In a great spot right now. Enjoy.

  • My first try of Montille. It did not disappoint- the nose was somewhat muted at first but to be expected- it did open up not long after. The taste is where the fireworks are now - just wow a feminine creamy fine fruit. So silky. Wish I had more
