Moya means wind in Greek. 93% Merlot, the rest is Cabernet. The softest and silkiest of the bunch. That smells more like a Bordeaux. Silky and rounded on the palate. But with some tannin. Its flashy, and maybe a bit over flashy but lively stuff.

We've gone through cases of earlier vintages of this wine, particularly the 2012 vintage. We were excited to try this under the new ownership/new label of the 2015. This wine is silky soft and has abundant fruit. Definitely more of a modern style than the earlier vintages which had more grainy tannins, coffee and earth flavors. Could be the 2015 growing season but I suspect the new ownership was looking for a wider appeal, with more accessible fruit and greater extraction.
I found it to have some edge right out of the bottle, so best to give this at least an hour of breathing, at the 2 hour mark I thought it hit its stride. Excellent QPR for organic wine making and this level of smoothness/flavor. Reminded me a lot of the 2015 Château La Dominique.

On second taste much better - still has allot of tannin to it.
