  • Dark brooding color. I would characterize the nose as unruly, with rich cherry fruit, brambly fruit followed by violet and musky perfume. The palate is heavy and shows oak, with cherry stone, herbal garden, more crushed rose and dried flower box. Hint of jasmine tea. Quite animalistic and layered. Stylistically note for me However showed a fine depth and structure

  • Cask sample. Really massive and yet seduced with darker concentrated red berries, licorice, salts, dark roasted coffee and slightly sweet smoke. Pretty full bodied and light rich wine with very good mouthfeel. Pronounced juicy red fruit. Pretty saltiness, licorice, coffee and a great spice on a long finish. Nice acidity and good bite on the tannins. A very good wine with great potential. 93 points. (93-95 points)
