This was deep tawny color, with some glycerine. On the nose, it's lots of vegetal, boiled cabbage and meaty notes. On the palate, there's less fruit than I expected, medium/full body, chewy tannins, and enough acidity. This is a fine food wine during the week, but not worth the $16 I paid. I would have much preferred a Juan Gil Monastrell.

If you have this wine in 2021, keep it! I opened a bottle Wednesday and it was unbalanced and awkward. Recorking it and having it Friday/ Saturday it is so much better with forest fruits and herbs and oak. It balances floral lightness with a strong body. Highly recommended and keep it in your cellar until 2023!
