First time trying Kerner - enjoyed it! Stone fruits (peaches, apricots), touch of lime, Meyer lemon. Medium + body, great mouth feel. ABV a little higher than I expected at 13.5, but very well balanced. Was great with grilled swordfish with Indonesian marinade.

Even better than the lovely 2016 version. Citrus tinged nose. Honey, lemon, minerals, Granny Smith apples, bit of spice on the complex palate. Nice mouthfeel. Nice acidity and balance. Long lingering finish of green apples and sharp lemon notes. Although this is hard to resist right now, I think another year in bottle would take it up a notch. Alas, even with a stash in the cellar, I will probably not get to find out!

This one seemed fresher and more lively on the palate than the first one. Richer with more pith in the mid-palate too.

White peach, nectarine, and white flesh pineapple on the bouquet. The palate adds waxiness and sweet herbs. Excellent acid and balance.
