Opened a forgotten bottle that I bought 17 years ago or so. Didn’t expect much but it is very nice. Berry notes, not very complex. Sometimes you get lucky.

If it wasn't for Cellar Tracker, I would have forgotten about this wine. Decanted this wine for one hour. Good value wine. Short finish and one dimensional nose.

bought at retail. nose was nice initially but gave up very little in all others ways at first. really came together after 2.5 hour decant, with very nice dark red fruits and a very savory finish. I would definitely search this wine out in other vintages, especially for the price. Fantastic QPR and a wine that quite strongly shows its Italian pedigree.
