Pours a very pretty orange-pink with a pink mousse. Very fine bubbles, but they fade real quick. Nose of strawberries, cherries, cream, honeysuckle, and a little bit of barrel/bottle funk. Medium bodied, sharp acidity, and a bit of creaminess. Palate of red currants, sharp wild cherries, under ripe strawberries, a mild dash of spices, a bit of yeast, and limestone. A mild level of fine grippy tannins. Long floral driven finish with candied wild cherries/currants, limestone, and mild white toast.
A similar profile to the 2017 we had a while back. It's good but it is not as deep as the recent releases.

November 2019 Trip to Sonoma: Really bright, fresh pinot fruit. Clean and refreshing, but I would have loved to try and savor this over a longer period of time.
Also, shout-out to Chris, who sent us home with a bottle when he heard it was my birthday. They're good people.

Favorite under the wire to date? Tough call between this and a few others but really really enjoyed. Toasty and a touch of white pepper/mushroom. Super-light rose. Lovely

Well done. Leans extra brut. Some creaminess that was nice when very cold. I don’t love Rose sparkling and this walked a line between BdN and Rose.

Great pinosity on this wine, a touch austere but with bright acidity. Really excellent expression in this bottle.
