Just a touch of smokey pinot character going on here on the palate. Second taste draws out a little more depth. In a gutsier and weightier style. Just opened, betcha it broadens out.

US wines in Honolulu: Pinot noir typicity on the nose. Fairly mute notes of raspberries, red cherries, a little earth and some spices. Some nascent orange rind. A pleasant, largely red berried mouth. Clean and pure. Oak not overdone. Some savouriness. Adequate acidity. Light bodied, leaner style. Not much structure. Pleasant enough, but not complex or nuanced. Drunk over three evenings. Best on the first night - after a couple of hours open - it largely fell over by the second evening. A 'drink soon' proposition.

Bing cherry nose, raspberry.*So it is dry, although there is plenty of depth of flavor. Very nice Pinot.

Medium weight. Smooth, well balanced, not at all acidic. Drinks nicely but lacking character.

A bolder well- rounded Pinot. Light fruit.
