A few days later, I remember this being perfectly nice but not really anything else about it - so it doesn't deserve anything better than a 'decent but unremarkable' score. Will revisit in a few years.

This medium-to-deep ruby blend of 75% Grenache and 25% Mourvèdre was fermented in concrete tanks and subsequently aged for 13 months in used demi-muids (90%) and terracotta amphora (10%). It is not your typical Côtes du Rhône by virtue of its price and quality. Laden with black and red bramble fruits that are supported with lavender, clove, dry earth and violets, it is a medium-bodied, fresh, minimally oaked wine with unnoticeable alcohol (listed as 14.5%) and soft tannins. Plump on the mid-palate and medium-to-long on the back end, this is a quality Southern Rhone that performs above its appellation but not necessarily above its price point. Drink now-2024.

Huge nose of black fruit, very animal, gibier, hint of salinity... Petites groseilles rouges, very fresh tannins, super sappy acidity, hint of salinity, great Côtes du Rhône!!

Lovely. A CNDP in all but name. Full bodied Grenache and Mourvèdre. Typical southern Rhône attributes.

Beautiful. Pleasantly surprised. Starts off very floral, then goes to a deep, wild raspberry, forest place. Great QPR.
