  Bright and expressive red fruits and floral notes. Amarena cherries, raspberries, violets. Slightly toasted oak notes with cinnamon and cardamon. A bit of that cherry cola note as well. Plush tannins and medium acid. Medium + in body. Label lists ABV at 13.9% but it didn't show much alcoholic heat, though 2h in that note did poke through here and there.   Probably just too much oak for my taste. Enjoyable, but not designed for my palate. Tart liquor, cherry flavors, somewhat syrupy but not that sweet. Some spice underneath the red fruit but, eh.

  Rather light in color but packed with evolving flavors as it gets air. Marciano cherry (Shirley temple) flavor with an element of a raspberry liquor. Some spice, a little herb (like thyme maybe?) and a vanilla/Carmel bit that showed early. Overall a very delightful PInot that paired very well with Panko crusted Tilapia and green beans with shallots and almonds. A terrific food wine that is rather atypical of Cali Pinot Noir. We really got into this light color, medium body, and well balanced Pinot. Most certainly will age well but quite approachable now with a decant. Fun stuff!
