Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 89.5 points

  • Light gold color
Medium plus aromas of unripe/ ripe peach and pear and light spice with intense minerality which drives this wine
Light bodied with rounded palate of citrus and pear again with an overlying wet stone/ saline minerality
Didn't get the evolution I noted in previous bottle
Very enjoyable, refreshing wine - great for the money

  • Really nice bottle which evolved over the night - Initially a mineral driven wine, driven by dry rocks and salt, with minimal aromatic interest. Later in the evening this blossomed into a fruit driven palate of ripe apples, butterscotch and cotton candy. Even later, the aromatics opened up, and white/ yellow florals became dominant. Quite complex and interesting for $8. Should have purchased more.
