Delicious Syrah and true to varietal. Blood sausage, black olive, thyme, dried flowers, and a little black fruit to round it out - but make no mistake, this is far from lean. Lush feel and medium acidity with present but integrating tannins make this a pleasure to drink Drink now, but no rush - there’s probably a decade of runway or more.
EDIT: Day 2 after wine cooler storage in a refilled 375...aaaaand, we’re back to where we were a couple years ago on this wine. Crushed rock, wild blueberry, violet, thyme, iron. The darkness and structure of the Brosseau fruit really show - no sign of being fully ready to go. Give it time

Clearly killing a baby here. Lavender, rosemary, thyme, raspberries, wild blueberry, granite. Tannins a bit tough still, but should settle in time.
