Red, medium intensity. Developed, medium(-) intensity nose. Cherries, dried plums, juicy. Dry, medium(+) acidity, medium(+) tannins, full bodied. Red and blue fruit. Plums. Nothing green. Chewy with rugged texture. Medium length. If blind, not sure we had nailed it.

Definitely improved since the last showing. The primary fruit has a bit more dimension as it fades/ages, pulling up some savory flavors and minerality, and even some tannin that didn't appear before. The mid-palate seems a bit thin but mostly fills out with air. A perfectly serviceable and tasty mid-week wine that you can open without guilt at < $20. Really enjoyed it more than the score would suggest. 89-90.

We bought cases of this for a function that was postponed due to Covid. Very accessible wine with upfront softness and tons of cherry fruit. There is just enough structure here keeping it together and some gentle tannin on the back end. Simple, easy drinking, and tasty. Drink now though as this is not an ager.

Franc nose, turned earth, sweet berries. Wine has 20% cab sauv that seems to add a fairly hard edge to this otherwise soft pleasing wine. Crushed violet, white pepper.

Quite big on the nose, did not find the cf.
Realy nice on the palate, nice cf - typical with black currant leaves and dusty feeling.
