Not bad if one considers that this is the third label of Negly. However, given the price called, the wine is a bit disappointing. The statue isn´t as big as wine journalists are claiming. The mouthfeel is too sweet and not enough differentiated to score better. A very good wine, but not outstanding, even not at Languedoc territories.

Opened bottle 2h ahead of consumption, 15.5% Alc., deep opaque black-red color.
Nose: Raisins and flavors of overripeness.
Palate: Dominant and first impression is raisin, hints of overripeness, have to cool the wine down, good balance, slightly tyring flow, very gentle silky tannins, diffuse black fruit, a bit toasted wood, hardly any complexity and depth.
Not my style and disappointing for the price of about 80 Euros/bottle. The best times of ''de la Negly'' might have been in the late 90th of the last century. At those times I loved the wines!

Inky black with some funk on the nose. Medium-full bodied. Moderate tannins that integrate nicely after a few hours. Falls apart at the end of day two. Black fruit, prunes.

Absolutely brilliant. Clearly on par with the best of the Southern Rhone. Only problem is I wish had more.

Stunning wine. Dark as night with deep brooding black fruits with nice spice on the finish. Really just brillant.
