  Medium garnet color, some fine sediment. Red fruit, fruit in rum, plum, mushroom, Christmas spice and an interesting combination of cigar ash and fire stone notes, with good acidity and average length.
  
  Mostly sous bois, with a touch of mint, and very smooth and enjoyable on day two.
  
  Medium-bodied, with average concentration and complexity. Quite respectable in the context of its price and age. Exceeded my expectations by far. Drink now and over the next five years.
