  • My finest Douro Tempranillo to date, very well balanced with extraordinary tannic structure. Prior bottling was aged for 17 months in new FR oak. Deep ruby colour. Rich and fine aroma of blackberries, peppers, violets, blackcurrant hints, cherries, toasted cedar hints, herbal touches. Full body, powerful yet elegant and balanced. Rich and dense fruitiness are well balanced by exemplary structured tannins.
