Deep gold in colour and clear. This wine had a strong nose and flavours of caramel and honey. In the glass were also apricots. This wine was quite crisp with quite a bit of acidity. This bottle appears to be getting better with some age and it showed as the best bottle of the few that I have tasted.

decanted for a few hours - still could have been opened longer, but showed lovely floral notes and a honeyed tone to complement the dried peach and pear notes.

Wow - just wow. I have never had a bottle of Sine Qua Non that wasn't something very special, but this is one of my favs. Citrus on the nose. Grapefruit, honey and mint on the palate. A glacial finish. Wonderfully integrated flavors that form a very complex mouthful. We drank it with herbed crabcakes from a master chef on a sailboat in the Bahamas. Anything may have tasted good in a situation like that, but this wine was as good as the food and the ambiance!

38% Roussanne, 31% Petit Manseng, 18% Chardonnay, 9% Viognier, & 4% Muscat. Pure balance...rich with waxy, floral, tropical fruits, creamy peach, apricot marmalade...SO mouth coating with viscosity, yet CUT with tangerine squeeze acidity...crushed rocks salinity...exotics of toasted marshmallow, dried apricot, white honey butter, hot buttered rum spice...such a tantalizing wine in perfect pleasure zone right now...yet many more years of hedonism to come. Too bad I'm out now. :-(

Wow this is a different wine! Grapefruit, vanilla, citrus flowers, it's really unctuous too. This is something else!
