  Deep garnet in the glass, 7 years has definitely mellowed this wine some. Oak, pepper, dark fruit, earthy, smoke and savouriness on the nose, surprisingly bold for an older vintage. A punch in the mouth of dark fruit, ripe plum, mulberry and musk followed by puckering, grippy tannins and a full body with medium acidity that make for an unforgettable! lingering finish. This is a fantastic wine. Drink within 2 hours of opening the 2015.
