The name can be translated into "carp writer" and the label has a fish holding a quill. A fish with a pen should get your attention. It is well-balanced, just crisp enough with a surprisingly long finish and beautiful aromatics and great just-ripe crisp citrus / mixed orchard fruit.
Screwcap. Under $20 USD. 12.0% abv. Drank nicely over two nights. Should age effortlessly, but drinking now is just fine. I bought a few more.

Fresh and crisp. Acids and petrol will develop over the year as this was just bottle weeks ago, says JJ. Only 2500 cs / yr for the entire winery, from 7 ha. of land. Some lemon and white peach notes.

For me I like Riesling’s that have more acidity and more sweet. This one had some good balance but not for me

Very nice Riesling. Dry, fruit forward, with citrus notes and accompanied by a mineral background.
