  • Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of deep ruby colour with fading garnet rim and legs.
    Nose: Clean, with medium (+) intensity aromas of black fruit of blackberry and dark cherries, oak notes of cedar, sweet spice of mint, pungent spice of black pepper, animal notes of meaty, maturity notes of savory. The wine is developing.
    Palate: Dry with medium (+) acidity, the wine has medium tannin of ripe and silky texture, medium alcohol and medium body, medium intensity flavors of black fruit of blackberry and dark cherries, red fruit of cranberry, sweet spice of clove, oak notes of cedar. The wine has a medium finish.
    Conclusion: Very good quality St-Julien Cabernet Franc with an intense nose showing good complexity, with an initial dark fruit, some herbal, oak and spicy notes, gradually evolving with savory and animal aromas. It has lively acidity, well-balanced and elegant, with reasonable concentration, some additional red fruit notes on flavors, and a decent length on the finish. It is ready to drink now and can maintain for another 3-5 years.

  • Rarely-seen varietal wine that LLC makes every year
    Nose is initially leafy and then can strong menthol aromas, some warm earth notes.
    Silkly texture, warm ripe fruit, raspberries, very smooth tannins, more menthol, very long.
    Stunning.
