Showing maturity this wine has subdued pepper with a more leathery nose. The palate is well rounded and continued to develop for a couple of hours after the decant. Drinking well now, probably on the downslope.

Popped and poured (consumed over 2 hours). This wine exhibited a dark garnet color. On the nose, aromas of black cherries, raspberries and plums were evident with floral aromas leading to hints of vanilla and coffee. On the palate, black cherries and raspberries were joined by notes of coffee, chocolate and toasty oak elements. The finish had hints of spice and tobacco as well. Overall, a solid Cabernet Franc. This definitely got better as the night wore on. HS89

Well balanced CF that displays it's Walla Walla roots well. Delicious berry and vanilla flavors, light french new oak hints, and mild acidity. I love the aroma of this wine too -- very fruity, but not California sweet. This vintage has a surprisingly full mouth without being overpowering, and a medium finish. A very good value too.

Much better this time, it needed some time in the bottle. Once this opened up, it was very nice.
