By the glass. Another totally predictable and boring northern chardo: tropical fruit, apple and pear along with spice notes from the wood but without a soul or sense of terroir. Fat, acid and some mineral in the mouth. There are thousands of chardonnay of this style spread across the four corners of the planet. Sorry.

Sits nicely in between rich California Chard and the more austere styles of Burgundy. This wine could be considered a benchmark Chard, with toasted almonds and vanilla on the nose, citrus and beeswax on the palate followed by a classic green apple finish that lingers pleasantly. Medium weight, with a silky smooth mouthfeel.
