  Second trying of this wine. This time from a 750ml. Once again fabulous and worth finding. Strawberry fruit is held is muted and balanced watery juice. So thin and yet so powerfully spiced with wild over-ripened strawberry and some sweet raspberry.
  
  I am going to state that these Martinelli Pinot Noir's age beautifully and are worth finding. This wine is 15 years old and is so melancholy, and yet so fruit laden and light bodied that it makes me ponder why a wine needs viscosity. Like many old wines it is simply beautiful.

  Had this during the weekend of the Concours D'Elegance in Amelia Island.
  Drank over 3 days from a magnum. This has aged well and is just so melancholy. Aromas and in mouth flavor of black cherry, raspberry, earth, and spice. The viscosity is thinner but the wine is well balanced.
