Fine but unmemorable Sancerre. Maybe it was my bottle - not flawed in any way, was clearly a Sauvignon Blanc Sancerre, but felt sort of generic, not excelling in any particular way.

Reserved (but ripe) fruit, the sappy green stuff you expect, after an hour or so some salt and mild mineral character. Maybe a little rounder and lower on acid and mineral, higher on orchard fruit than usual, but reasonably typical. This is a decent enough Sancerre and I enjoy it but only average qpr for the region and there’s nothing distinctive here, I’d rather pay like $5 more for something a little more accomplished. ~6-/10
