  This is overall a lovely wine but I do feel the very ripe 2018 character shows a bit too much and I personally prefer more acidity and purity in a Spätlese than this.
  
  Borderlines closer to an Auslese for me with the sweetness from honey, canned peaches, canned pineapple and ripe tropical fruits. There's still a nice acidity hiding in there from citrus fruits, white peach, apricot and passion fruit but it gets overpowered a bit too much for me.
