This is still quite youthful with Drying dark fruits, purple frlorals, hints of perfume and spices on the nose, light but grippy mouth feel, medium plus acidity and a light finish

The best of the 4 Lecheneaut 2005’s, which have been largely disappointing. Nice vosne nose, bit of a short finish on the mouth. Drink up over next 4 years

Fairly pretty violet aromas but not the high toned kind. Quite a distinguished and structured wine. Dry on the palate. Tannins were noticeable and very dark fruited. After revealing, this made sense as the vineyard is at the NSG side.

Decanted for an hour before the first glass, drank the rest over 3 hours. Tight on the nose, eventually opening up a bit with sour cherry and loamy earth, and hints of spice and orange lurking. Good structure, flavors well integrated. Mouth-puckering tannins. Should evolve nicely over the next 7-8 years.

2005 Vosne Romanee Blind Tasting: Candy cherry darker notes. Wood on palate very intense. Not my style
