  • First of all I have to admit that I have not been a fan anymore of Moscato for years, too much, too sweet, to boring. I had liked this grape ten years ago fort he last time.

This wine had a plastic cork, when I opened it there was a nice plopping but the smell had aging notes and I thought that I could just right away throw it in the garbage can (kitchen sink).

But, well, you need to try at least I told myself: 5 minutes later - wow!

    N. Slightly nuts, aging (Madeira), alcoholic notes (like at the doctors, disinfection), beet root molasses, very complex, white pepper, mineralic hints, cold smoke

    T. Fruits and freshness, straight, iodine, dense, quite complex, aging notes again, sweet with bitter notes, halfbaked cake, white flowers, honey, mead, caramels, long finish

This is a sugar daddy with muscles, well done Claudio!
And I hope that my French friends will forgive me, but now I know what this wine reminds me of, I had a tasting of old Sauternes from the beginning of the 20th century - this guy tastes like one of them, on speed ;) broken and fresh at the same time, what an experience!
