Greece and Croatia (K & L Wine Merchants (Hollywood, CA)): Medium blood red. Totally modern and toasty nose of sweet vanilla and baking spices. After a nicely dry entry, the oak just clobbers any trace of place or variety, save for some wimpy cranberry.

Served at a tasting at K&L in SF. Quick notes: very light with some off notes of rotting fruit with touches of coffee and vinegar. I was thinking to myself, if this is the Reserve, I would hate to try the regular bottling. Needs food. Mediocre.

This wine was a bit old, due to that probably, lacking structure = not interseting!
