  an absolute shocker how amazing this wine is/was! I had it sleeping in my cellar, but was wanting to try it... and boy oh boyd- lol, way to go. Earthy, mushroom, aroma, decanted and filtered through ULLO, and let decant for over 45 minutes before first drink- aroma still very strong and first taste was an earthy undertone, graphite, light cherry, easy drink. no long finish, but was velvety and pleasant. this would easily become one of my fav pinots, and didn't disappoint at all and was what i call a wow. well done to my friends the boyd family- great instance, like your syrah, merlot and cabs!
