First try of this vineyard from RC. Looks good with clear cherry fruit. Nose is very sous bois, woody and a little muddled with some muted cherry fruit. Palate is better - crisp cherry fruit with a nice crunch of acidity, mild tannins, maybe this is a little tainted based on the acidity but the finish is pretty nice. Will wait overnight to see if It gets any better.
A couple of days later the taint seems to have blown off. The wine is nicely ripe and well balanced but lacking any "wow". Really decent pinot, not sure worth the tariff however.
