Really had to use my imagination to find the nuances of Sauvignon Blanc here. I'd swear it was a Chardonnay that had been left in the refrigerator, uncorked. I just could not much citrus in this wine, no green grass, acidic, melon goodness with a bit of tart apple. Ok, ok..........I guess I just told you what I'm looking for in a SB, but this had none of that. B-O-R-I-N-G.

Samples: Has a soft herbal nose. It tastes like S. Blanc, but is so completely boring. Totally forgettable...

Random Samples from Freixenet, Palm Bay, and Rutherford Ranch (The Jug (Upstairs)): Typical grapefruit nose. Short, simple palate of citrus and green apple. Very boring, very simplistic approach to SB.
