Strawberry and cantaloupe dominate the nose on this rose, and the flavor develops some raspberry notes on the first sip. The attack is tart and a rather acidic but it transitions into a long, smooth finish. Paired with a pesto dish, the sweetness is brought to the fore and the wine feels a lot more balanced than it does alone.

This is a fairly simple, but genuinely elegant rose that's worth more than it costs. It's a soft salmon color and almost floats in the glass. In the nose, strawberry is prominent, of course, but there's also maraschino cherry and notes of jasmine, melon, sweet hay, and even a touch of lemongrass after it warms and takes on the air. The palate is simple, but it's both lively and smooth, with raspberry taking over from the strawberry late in each gulp, and sticky canteloupe lingers on the tongue with just enough grassy chew to make it interesting and not abruptly short. There's only a hint of minerality that rings brassy as its temperature rises -- I would try to keep it cool. It finishes nice and dry, making for nice versatility. It was fun to quaff by itself, but also accompanied caprese, eggplant, hummus, and guacamole all just fine. Well crafted stuff!

A beautiful salmon colored rose that is clear and bright. It is French and made from grenache grapes. The wine is fresh, medium bodied and has aromas of strawberry and melon. I tastes like summer itself. I served this wine at a mostly vegan pot-luck I hosted from my painting group. It was a hit, everyone loved it.
