Still young but coming along. Big structure for a merlot though not a lot of tannin (as expected). Lots of red fruit dominates the nose and palate though there aer other subtle notes on the palate: plum?, coffee? Should improve for a long time.

Still very young but wow. Big and bold. PnP and hit with bramble and dark fruit notes on the nose; smooth enough to be pleasant on the palate (tannins well controlled) with combo of red and fruit notes, some forest notes and more. Big, full bodied, esp. considering it is a Merlot. Will definitely improve for a very long time

Still very young but wow! Nothing like a normal Merlot: big, sophisticated and complex. Should have decanted it but PnP at a restaurant. Bright red color with red fruit (raspberry, plum) on the nose along with a earthy notes (mushroom?). More of the same complexity on the palate. If I were poured this blind, I don't think I would say Merlot, except that that tannins are hard to find. But my first guess would be Cab Sauv. Glad I have several more bottles, which will rest for a while!

My first time trying this bottling, and I was very happy with it. Big red fruit profile, but with all the balance and cool-climate sensibility that you'd expect from Ravines. Structure bodes well for this wine holding in the cellar, but I enjoyed it now for its forward, delicious fruit.

Still very young but this is a big, complex wine that will age very well. Had with prime rib: a perfect pairing. Bright, deep red; cherry but no hint of sweetness, plenty of structure with hints of earth, raspberry and more.
