Perhaps one of the best $15 wines I have ever drunk! Beautiful fruit bouquet followed by Cherry and mineral notes in the mouth. A touch of earthyness that lens complexity, and throughout it all an elegance and sophistication unusual in a wine this inexpensive. Full of flavor, but not overly intense, and light to at most medium bodied. It just shows you what can be done with such neglected grape varieties as Cinsault and País (Listan Negro)

Needed a good 2 hours to decant to settle initial harshness and help blend. On the nose wild flowers and cherries. On the palate distinct mineral texture but notably acidic making it difficult to distinguish other flavors to offer. medium body with finish that needed the long decant to mellow a lingering acidic aftertaste. Maybe too young or improperly stored before buying but had a hard time with this one. Based on other reviews and WA 93 rating I wanted to like this one but just didn’t come through.

90% Cinsault and then pais. That has a funky smell on the nose. Smoked green pepper and a kinda harsh way on the nose. Like somewhat burred the green pepper. Whew. That flavor continues on the palate. Not sure what is going on here. Actually 67% Cinsault and then Pais. Wholecluster. Fundre.

Earthy granite, bright cherry red fruit, herbal with hint of hay. Slightly peppery and refreshing.
