This wine was for thanksgiving dinner at our favorite local restaurant. It held up great w time, fruit was still primary and vibrant, the Tanins were still present, but well integrated. We decanted first for an hour or so. I really enjoyed this

Stood up for 2-3 days, sediment was well settled. Light ruby; aromatic, red fruited, strawberry, a little spice, a little floral, slight green stems; palate is light bodied, integrated tannins still have a little presence, red fruited, just a touch of sous bois, medium-plus acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), fades a bit through the midpalate; finish is medium length. Similar to my last bottles, this is enjoyable and balanced, a great everyday burgundy, drinking well now but not in decline. For $33 on release this is quite good. 89

A hint of TCA which is a shame as there seems to be a good underlying base here. Suspicious confirmed as it bloomed on day 2.
