  • I agree with other that this is in a good drinking window and excellent value. Linear and lively with classic burgundy notes. Would buy again if I could find more.

  • Agree with reviews below! I am a bit hesitant as to the drinking window though. Has a lot of fruit now but while opening up the acidity and tannins also became more profound (usually I find this to decrease given some air). And I think they can become more integrated as opposed to slightly separation now. Will try next bottle in 2-3 years.

  • Terrific pinot noir - a dark yet bright red, lovely aromatics - the whole gamut of damp earth and autumn mornings with lashings of strawberry and cherry. Definitely fruit forward, very nice. On the palate very smooth, a silken quality, extremely léger and thus far too easy to drink. I am beginning to realise there are two types of red burgundy - the crazy-expensive-keep-for-years burgundies that can be amazing if you catch them at a good time and lousy if you don't, and then the simple, pleasing, unpretentious young wines drunk at just 3-4 years old, likely 'just' regional or village, but that dole out pleasure like it is going out of fashion, and where you can still afford to heat your home. This might be a 1er Cru, but it falls in the camp of the latter and is just a lovely bottle.

  • Popped and poured. Very overt nose of flowers, wild strawberries and herbs. The wine is red fruited, light to medium bodied, silky, easy going and hedonistic. On the other hand, the wine is fairly simple and straightforward and doesn’t look like it has the heft to age a long time. For near term drinking a very good choice.
