(Carobbio CCR) Magnum Dear Friends, I just came across this parcel of magnums, a wine that is highly thought of in Italy and priced right for a future dinner party. Think of this as Chianti Riserva meets Flaccionello and it would be something like this style. My experience with this producer is that the Riserva needs at least 6-8 years of age to display its virtues and in magnum format it may need even more. Carobbio’s CCR has won numerous accolades over the years (Tre Bicchieri’s, etc) and this wine continues the legacy. They save the best barrels for the magnums and this wine shows its pedigree with much to give over the next 10-15 years. This late release wine was just awarded a Veronelli “3-star”. This parcel is in pristine condition. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED STRICT LIMIT 2/person 2003 Carobbio Chianti Classico Riserva 1.5lt Thank you, Jon Rimmerman Garagiste Seattle, WA Italy7680
