The nose of this wine had blackberries, currants, earth and pepper. Very spicy flavors with currants being the most forward fruit. The mouthfeel was good, but the finish was tangy and drying

Washington Wine Highway (Chateau Ste. Michelle, Woodinville, WA): The nose of this wine had blackberries, currants, earth and pepper. Very spicy flavors with currants being the most forward fruit. The mouthfeel was good, but the finish was tangy and drying. Maybe that was from just tasting the Oriana and scallops prior to this wine, but I don't think so since the next wine (the L'Etalon) had a very nice finish.
