Lovely translucent colour, light ruby tinged brown so I expect there's some whole bunch. Tart red fruit nose with also a dried fruit character to it - cherries and raspberry for me, my 3yo daughter says it smells like plum. Similar fruits on the palate along with some classic earthy Pinot spice, also some subtle stalky greenness but I wouldn't say its underripe. Good now but no rush, should comfortably last 5years I think.

Well, 18 months since my last bottle and this has developed well, rich tomato sauce, caramelised onion, persimmon fruit on the nose, very smooth, tannins have subsided balanced fruit with the still spritely acidity... lovely persimmon fruit sweet and sour, rich ragu flavours flowing into a nice warm, but not OTT, finish. Yes. One left and looking forward to it with another Sunday night slow cooked lamb dish.

Colour: light Cherry colour - pretty Nose: slight whiff of alcohol, plum... Palate: light plum, strawberry, slight sweetness, earthy, weak grippy tannin, rounded and maybe need a few more years. Not bad

93 - lovely, anise, cherry, tar nose, bitter cherry, rising tannins, drawing to fried bacon & lamb jus. Lovely as it aged in the glass...
