  Another good bottle of this wine. Very ripe berries. Strong aromas. You can taste the hot, dusty, yet fertile climate of South Africa. Pair it with any type of red meat and you will not be disappointed.

  I have tasted some great Pinotages in S. Africa and in my opinion not many of the GREAT ones are seen too often in the US... although there are a few. This one is not phenomenal, but it is very good. It is very typical of Western Cape Pinotage. Full-bodied flavor and very accessable. Best paired with red meat of any kind, especially Springbok.
  
  This is a great starter Pinotage for people who are new to S. African wines. While I was there I was told never to buy a wine from S. Africa that had an animal or animal print on the label. I have stuck to this and have never been too disappointed with the result.
